SHORT COURSES:

Short Courses 1: Geological Evolution of Southeast Asia (3 days)

Instructor: Professor Emeritus Dr Charles Hutchison (University of Malaya)

Date: 4-6th March 2009 (Post-Conference)

Time: 9am-5pm

Venue:  Corus Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

Package includes: Lectures and accompanying textbook "Geological Evolution of SE Asia" by CS Hutchison, and lunches and teas for 3 days.

No of participants: 35 pax (on first come first serve basis)

Price per pax: RM3,600 / USD 1,128 nett per pax.

 

Short Courses 2: Global Review of Petroliferous Sedimentary Basins and their Petroleum Systems and Play Development (4 days) - Organized in association with the University of Malaya

Instructor: Professor Harry Doust (Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam, also Visiting Professor at University of Malaya)

Date: 25-28th February 2009 (Pre-Conference)

Time: 9am-5pm

Venue:  Corus Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

Package includes: Lectures, course materials, lunches and teas for 4 days.

No of participants: 35 pax (on first come first serve basis)

Price per pax: RM5,000 / USD 1,565 nett per pax.

 

Payment Instruction

For local participants, payment by crossed cheque made payable to the Geological Society of Malaysia. Outstation cheques should cover bank charges.
